Here’s a fun video of 8-week old Basenji pup Tocin, who got his head stuck in a toy. Question for us all: Is grandfather Zeke purposefully trying to help him get unstuck? I’m leaning toward yes, even while concerns about inappropriate anthropomorphism dance in my head. I’m influenced in part because of the quick lick Zeke gives to Toci once he is rescued, and my knowledge the how devoted Zeke has been to the puppies ever since he first met them.
