I've watched this like 100 times. This is one of the NOAA Hurricane Hunters flights into the eye of category 5 Melissa. The 'stadium effect' is just jaw-dropping. The hurricane was so strong that a few of the recon flights actually had to abort their missions because of how bad the turbulence was. One of the flights that was successful recorded a wind gust of 234 mph!
