I might not know everything about toddlers, but I do know this: give them two toothbrushes and make the silliest noises you can think of, and suddenly brushing becomes much easier. Toddlers want to feel involved, powerful, and entertained. When they get their own toothbrush to hold, they feel in control. Add in silly sounds, animal noises, or a song their focus shifts from resisting to playing. Change the location of where you’re brushing (this was in the kitchen) and it’s a whole new experience
